Mengoz Snack

Rodrigues

It doesn't get much simpler than this, but that's why we like it. In Mont Lubin, next to where the main road through the island branches to Grande Montagne, Port Mathurin and the southwest, this fine little snack bar serves up fried rice or noodles, often with a main dish such as chop suey. A real slice of local life.

It's packed at lunchtime.
