Stoner’s Surf Camp

Central Pacific Coast

The thatched-roof cabañas (cabins) on stilts at this laid-back surfer joint are seriously basic but have electricity, mosquito nets (you'll need them), fans and beds so distressed they're practically inconsolable, but the sunsets from up there are priceless. You might be able to camp or sling a hammock. Cabaña guests get discounts at the surf center; longboards for rent here.
