Marisqueira Praia da Rocha

The Algarve

An unusually traditional restaurant for Praia da Rocha, this low-key place serves classic Portuguese fare: sardinhas grelhadas (salt-seasoned grilled sardines), arroz de tamboril (monkfish and coriander rice) and cozida à Portuguesa (pork and cabbage stew). The exotic fish in the aquariums are not for consumption. The nicest seats are in the umbrella-shaded courtyard.
