Atelier Sul Mare

Tyrrhenian Coast

Founded by Antonio Presti, the entrepreneur and art collector behind the town's Fiumara d'Arte project, this quirky hotel at the water's edge has 23 'art rooms' and suites conceptualised and realised by Italian and international artists between 1990 and 2019. There are also 17 standard rooms, all with original artworks and many with sea views. Check online for special offers.

The entire hotel is treated like an art project, with guided tours offered at noon on weekends (free for guests, €7 for non-guests). Guests who stay longer than one night are invited to change rooms as often as they like to get an intimate perspective on multiple artists' work.
