Hidden down unlikely footpaths south of Changspa Rd, classy Bon Appetit has far more finesse than most in Leh, so consider booking. Much on the eclectic menu has an Italian feel, but you'll also find good salads and tandoori grills. It's a great place to bring a date or for a sunset drink (beer ₹250) on the patio.
The building is a stylish exercise in Ladakhi minimalist architecture, and has a splendid view of Stok Kangri from the open terrace. Don’t confuse with the Fort Rd eatery of the same name near Chopsticks.
