Bukhari Restaurant

Top choice in Paro

The sophisticated circular restaurant at the Uma Paro hotel is the best in the valley. The set dinner menu changes frequently and focuses on fresh, healthy and locally sourced food. Lunch is simpler and includes the popular Wagyu burger with Bumthang 'Gouda' cheese. There are also set Bhutanese or Indian meals, or you can choose anything from the all-day dining menu.

Bukhari is a small, intimate restaurant, so reserve ahead of time. For that special occasion ask about the expensive but magical private candlelit dinner in the lower courtyard.
