Boat House

Mahé

This long-standing venture is a great place for a slap-up meal. Its Creole-themed buffet dinner should satisfy all but the hungriest visitors, with about 20 different dishes on offer, including Creole curries, salads and barbecued fish. It also has a limited but tasty selection of fish dishes, including octopus salad or tuna curry in coconut milk, at lunchtime.

The open-sided dining areas let in the marina breezes to keep things cool.
