Old Puʻunene Bookstore

Top choice in ʻIao Valley & Central Maui

This shack in the middle of a tiny village has been a used-book store since 1913. It’s musty, unique and seriously good value. The selection is wide and it still sells most books for a quarter! Pick up secondhand DVDs and CDs here, too. Out front on the porch the books are free. Proceeds go to Maui public libraries.

It's behind Puʻunene School, near E Camp 5 Rd.
