Hostal Sajama

Bolivia

With traditional-style thatched-roof adobe lakauta huts, firm beds, clean sheets and electric heaters, this is an atmospheric option at the southern entrance to Sajama village. The arched ceilings give a feeling of openness to the otherwise tight rooms, with Andean textiles adding to the overall charm. There's even wi-fi access in the restaurant.

Owner Eliseo is an experienced climbing guide who can arrange guides and rent equipment for climbs up Volcán Sajama, Volcán Parinacota and Volcán Acotango. It's also possible to rent bikes (B$35 per day).
