Drakensberg Escarpment

This busy shop has contemporary crafts from beadwork and woven baskets to engraved ostrich eggs and make-up bags decorated with African proverbs. It's solidly South African in the main, but there are pieces from further afield such as masks from Cameroon and the Côte d'Ivoire. Its line in kids' clothing isn’t cheap, but it’s high quality and quite distinctive.
