Discovery Cafe & Guest House

Melaka City

Owner Bob Teng offers nearly everything that caters to travellers' needs here, from budget rooms (from RM50), bicycle and scooter rental to bus tickets, all manner of Melaka tours and cafe food. At the very least drop by for a beer, which gets cheaper with each subsequent order. There's live music most nights and the nearby riverside setting is pleasant.

There's a flea market in a warehouse down by the river from the cafe every Saturday and Sunday.
