Hölderlinturm

Swabian Alps Region

You can see how the dreamy Neckar views from this silver-turreted tower fired the imagination of Romantic poet Friedrich Hölderlin, resident here from 1807 to 1843. It now contains a museum tracing his life and work. Due to extensive renovation work, the museum is now closed until late 2019.
