El Mirador de las Monjas

Extremadura

High in the old town, this super-friendly six-room hostería (small hotel) has bright, spotless, modern rooms decorated in a minimalist-chic style with lots of creams and whites and gorgeous, gleaming bathrooms. Upstairs rooms with sloping ceilings and pretty vistas are slightly better than those below, but all are outrageously good value, plus there's a restaurant attached.
