Palace of Arts

Top choice in Budapest

The two concert halls at this palatial arts centre by the Danube are the 1700-seat Béla Bartók National Concert Hall (Bartók Béla Nemzeti Hangversenyterem) and the smaller Festival Theatre (Fesztivál Színház), accommodating up to 450 people. Both are purported to have near-perfect acoustics. Students can pay 500Ft one hour before all performances for a standing-only ticket.
