Start off with a walking tour of Intramuros followed by lunch. Take in Rizal Park and the National Museum of the Filipino People. Head to Roxas Blvd to watch the sun set over Manila Bay and dine and drink in Malate.
On your second morning, head over the Pasig River to tour Binondo and Quiapo. Start at Escolta St then wander around Chinatown and have lunch. Catch the LRT to the Chinese Cemetery and/or North Cemetery. End the day with sunset drinks followed by dinner at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza or one of many rooftop bars around town.
Base yourself in Makati if you're not already there. In the morning take in the engaging Ayala Museum then browse the upscale malls of the Ayala Center and have lunch. Have a massage then spend the evening in the gleaming Fort area (aka BGC).
On your final day, choose between a five-star brunch and a short excursion out of town – the Marikina Shoe Museum and Pinto Art Museum are good options. By night, enjoy a fine meal then whoop it up in Makati's up-and-coming Poblacion district.
