Ditumabo Falls (Mother Falls), which drop 15m into a small reservoir above an unfinished hydroelectric dam, are easily accessible from Ditumabo, 12km west of Baler. Walk or take a tricycle (P100) 2km along an unpaved track to the trailhead, from where it’s a straightforward 30- to 45-minute hike to the falls up a creek bed next to a water pipeline.

The deep, clear pool under the falls makes for a refreshing swim.
