Upon arrival you will enjoy a tasty buffet lunch made with organic ingredients and native flavors. After lunch you will take a walk through the Lucerna trails. In these natural trails, located within the property, you will discover and learn about the primary and secondary forest, its components, uses, transformations made by man, and its relevance to the world. At night you will have an interesting river excursion at night. You will navigate the Madre de Dios River, to know its ecosystem, Amazonian streams, the behavior of nocturnal fauna. Here you will understand why Madre de Dios is known as the biodiversity capital of Peru. You will know the conservation works of the Reserve and the formation of the lake, sailing in canoe through this water mirror, home of the giant otter in danger of extinction, the blue and yellow macaw, the howler monkey, the black alligator, and one of the largest freshwater fish in the world, the Paiche. Back to the lodge will have lunch, to later enjoy a walk through the gardens and spaces of the native farm here we have plantations that provide our pantry, if you still have time we can go to visit the native family or do it the day after. Returning to the Lodge you will enjoy a restorative traditional dinner. While we wait we can observe the movement of the local fauna, hopefully we will observe some parrots, macaws, reptiles and the expected lazy bear on the top of the trees. Depending on the time schedule, we will return to the Lodge and enjoy a nutritious breakfast buffet before leaving. You will travel by canoe with an outboard motor back to Puerto Maldonado.
