- Visit a non-touristy lake to do some piranha fishing.- Watch a natural show at the Parrot Clay Lick- Fun and learn are the perfect combination at this journey.This is a short excursion in the Peruvian Jungle. After a 30 minutes drive from Puerto Maldonado there are some lakes with big palm trees. From this point the adventure continues in a canoe to do some piranha fishing like the locals.After fishing, the riverbank is going to become the stage for one of the most spectacular natural shows of the world. The boat is going to be run aground next to the river side to watch the parrots that go there to feed on the salts and minerals of the clay, hopefully we will see more than 100 parrots!The adventure ends at the clay lick and then goes back to Puerto Maldonado

- Watch the Amazon sunset from the river.- Spot wild life like caimans and capybaras- If the night is clear you will see the sky full of starsThe Night river activity is one of the most silent and peaceful things to do in Puerto Maldonado. For this experience travelers stay on the boat all the time.The river is the prefect place to appreciate the majestic Amazon sunset with the change of colors in the sky.When the night falls down is the ideal moment to get closer to the riverside to find wild life, the most common animals are the white caimans and the capybaras (the biggest rodent in the world) usually they move in packs of 4 or 5.After the caiman and capybara search, it is time to turn off the boat engine and listen the night noises of the jungle.After this activity we will return to Puerto Maldonado.

- Visit a natural protected area trying to spot wild life.- Canoe ride on one of the most beautiful lakes around the area.- Giant River Otter spotting.This Adventure starts early in the morning from Puerto Maldonado. First a short drive to the harbor and then take a boat ride for around 45 minutes. After the boat is time for a walk deep into the jungle (about 3 km. or 1.6 miles), keep your eyes open during the walk because there are great chances to spot some animals like macaws, hawks, monkeys, reptiles, etc. After walking the canoe ride round the Sandoval lake starts. The lake is part of the Tambopata National Reserve; this is one of the most important protected areas in the country because here you can find some endangered species like Giant River Otter and the Black Caiman.After the lunch at a local family house we will return to Puerto Maldonado.

- Kayaking on the Madre de Dios river trying to spot wild life- Zip Lining over the Amazon Rain Forrest- Walk around the Rolling Island where you can find three different kinds of monkeys.This Excursion starts early in the morning from Puerto Maldonado. First a short drive to the harbor and then take a boat ride for around 30 minutes. From this point the kayaking starts! There are great chances to see some wild life on the riverbank like white caimans or turtles.After a while on the kayak the adventure continues with the three-canopy zip line to get a different view of the rain forest.Before the Monkey Island visit there is a lunch break. The Rolling Island or Monkey Island is part of an Inka Terra Association project. They try to reinsert the monkeys into their natural habitat after saving them from being on the black market.At the end of a day full of new experience we will return to Puerto Maldonado
