Where its sister establishment Hotel Presidente lacks a little in character, this older, more elegant lodging evokes an air of bygone grandeur. The building has wooden balconies, beautiful public areas hung with San Pedro de Cajas tapestries and good views of the plaza outside the Centro Civico. Rooms vary in size and quality, but all will leave you perfectly satisfied.
The on-site restaurant is good, there's a bar with live music on weekends and guests get use of a gorgeous antique billiards table, too.
