This great Trek combines walks, panoramic views and the observation of the magnificent condors in a short time.
DAY1 CABANACONDE-LLAHUARWe will pick you up at your hotel at approximately 3:30 a.m., to immediately take the course to the Colca Valley. We will make a stop in the town of Chivay (11926 ft) for breakfast. Then we went to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to witness the majestic flight of the condors, the largest carrion birds in the world, which rise from the depths of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest on the planet. We will continue on our way to the village of Cabanaconde (10784 ft), starting point to begin our walk and head west to find the achachiwa viewpoint, from where we will have an impressive view of the Colca Canyon, the river, mountains and villages. We will see the Gecler de Pacclla, then we arrive at Llahuar, where we will enjoy the thermal pools and spend the night. DIA2 LLAHUAR - OASISAfter breakfast, we begin our ascent by a zigzag path until we reach the apacheta viewpoint (8858 ft), from where we will have an excellent view of the Canyon of the green and leafy Oasis of San Galle.We will have lunch and spend the night in an oasis lodge.DAY 3 OASIS - CABANACONDE - CHIVAYAt 5: 00h we started our ascent. The walk will be a bit demanding due to the slope of the trail. After 3hrs approximately, we arrive at Cabanaconde, where we will have breakfast, and then take the bus to Chivay. We will make our last stop at the Cruz del Cóndor to observe Condors and take pictures of the Canyon.In Chivay, before lunch we will visit the thermal pools to relax with its thermal waters. We will return to Arequipa or we can take a bus from Chivay to Puno.
