Visit the city of Encarnacion on the border of Paraguay and Argentine. The famous border city is home of the famous costanera, known to be one of the longest sidewalk areas running along the Parana river that divides Paraguay from Argentina. La Costanera on the Paraguay side faces the Argentine city of Posadas. While in Encarnacion we will visit the museum of the Sacred Arts located at the Catholic University of Paraguay. The museum exhibits a collection of artifacts from the 17th and 18th centuries of the jesuit priests and the Guarani Indians. This history was made famous in the movie 'The Mission'. After the museum we will go to the costanera where we will find a location to eat. Guests will have the option of where to stay in Encarnacion for the night, and whether to stay in inexpensive or luxury accomodations for the night. The next day it is off to see the Jesuit Ruins in Trinidad about an hours drive from Encarnacion and then head back to Asuncion and each tourists hotel.
