For 10 years British street artist Banksy has been stencilling his work on and around the wall that separates Bethlehem from Jerusalem. Now he's opened a hotel opposite the wall that promises 'the worst view in the world'. The view may be unconventional, but the hotel itself is slick and stylish – and surreal (one suite has a tiki bar).

Home to a museum, a piano bar and an art gallery, Walled Off also boasts some of the most high-end dorms in the Middle East, if not the world, with fresh towels, mini-fridges and in-room music.

The hotel was built in secret and was only due to stay open for a year, but in September 2017 began taking bookings for the winter season, suggesting that it will remain. The hotel offers useful and informative tours to nearby Aida refugee camp as well as to other nearby cities, such as Jericho and Hebron.
