Turtle Beach Resort

Top choice resort

in Ras Al Hadd

Sitting like a full stop at the end of the Ras Al Hadd peninsula, this resort commands the high ground at the point where Khor Hajar pours into the open sea and gives access to miles of sandy beach. Rooms are in low-rise, air-conditioned concrete huts, made rustic with barasti (palm-frond) cladding and each with a small covered porch.

The camp, which unusually has a bar, is signposted left immediately after entering Ras Al Hadd. A one-hour dolphin-watching trip in a fibreglass boat costs OR20 per boat (up to five people).
