Tour description provided by Viator

Dogsledding with our Alaskan Huskies is our all-time best seller! Join us for a dog sled trip on Kvaløya, one of Norway’s largest islands. The sleds are driven by our guides so you can enjoy the trip and scenery. See great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø and towards the Balsfjord and Malangen peninsula. With about one hour of dog sledding you also get to meet our 300 four legged friends up close and spend some time with the puppies.
With a 2:1 guest to guide ratio, everyone will have a sled driven by our professional mushers. We stop for photos half way on the track. After a ride in the Norwegian winter a hearty meal of Bidos, prepared with reindeer meat, broth and vegetables is just what the body needs. We serve the meal in our camp around the fire (vegetarian meal available on request). Order of dogsledding and Dogyard visit may change. Warm clothes and boots are included, we recommend bringing a good scarf or snow goggles if it is snowing heavily. The trip runs in all normal weather conditions. In case of cancellation due to lack of snow or extreme weather you are offered rescheduling, a different activity or full refund. After the trip we bring you back to the Radisson BLU Hotel.
