The Bank House

Cafe in County Antrim

Cafe, gift shop, art school and more, the Bank House is a social hub for the residents of tiny Whitehead. Located in a former bank (clue in the name), you're guaranteed a warm welcome from Sinead and her team, some tasty Northern Irish treats (try the black butter) and a selection of gifts, made by local craftspeople, which make great souvenirs.

The Yellow Door Ciabatta (fresh pesto, ham, brie, tomatoes) is the top selling sandwich, but save some space for the delicious apple sponge with cream. And if you visit on Friday afternoons you're in for an extra treat as a traditional Irish group plays for visitors.
