On this tour you will hear at first hand about the key military engagements carried out between Irish Republicans and the British Army in South Armagh, an area which was once described as 'The most dangerous posting for any British soldier in Northern Ireland'. Before leaving Belfast you will first take a short tour of the city to see the most well known political murals in the city. You will be led by two knowledgeable and engaging guides, one a former Irish Republican activist from the area and the other an ex-British soldier posted to South Armagh. Listen as each relates his own personal experience of the conflict.
Join your luxury coach in Belfast city centre for a 9am departure. As we start our tour in Belfast, we will cover all the best known political murals in the city before departing for South Armagh.
