The world’s only example of a British Guiana One-Cent Magenta stamp, the world’s rarest postal stamp, is going to be put on display at the National Postal Museum in Washington, DC from April 2015. The stamp dates from 1856 and was last sold in June to an anonymous buyer for $9.5 million, the most ever paid for a single stamp. The stamp will be exhibited in the William H.
