If you’ve yet to make any plans for 2017 and have more than £125,000 to spare, a new year-long, around-the-world cruise might help you check some items off your travel bucket-list.

The “World of Travel” cruise hits seven continents on seven different cruise lines, in a 357-day trip around the world.
The cruise, organised by Mundy Cruising, brings travellers from South America to Asia by way of Europe, North America, Australia, Africa and Antarctica. But guests won’t be confined to just one ship on their long adventure – they will take different legs of the trip on different luxury ships. And if a year-long trip seems like a lot to commit to, there is also a stop between each section of the cruise that will let guests head home to unpack, relax and get ready for the next part of their trip.

The South American leg starts in Miami on 10 January 2017, and begins by circumnavigating South America on the Crystal Serenity cruise line. Guests will get to visit Machu Picchu, see Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, head down the Amazon and see Chilean fjords.

Guests will arrive back in Miami on 15 April, and will head out on their European adventure from Athens on 2 May aboard Oceania Cruises. The European leg of the trip will take in the Mediterranean, Baltic and North Atlantic seas, before heading towards Southampton. Visitors will be able to see the Italian coast lines, the architecture of St. Petersburg, the natural beauty of Iceland and much more before arriving in England on 4 August.
Guests will then depart for North America on 30 August from Vancouver, stopping in places like Alaska, San Francisco, Costa Rica, Quebec and travel through the Panama Canal. That leg of the adventure will end on 7 October in Montreal.

After that, the cruise will leave on 21 October from Sydney, taking in Australia and surrounding islands before arriving in Melbourne on 16 November. On 3 December, the travellers will be off on the next leg of their trip to explore Africa and the Indian Ocean. Guests will leave from Dubai, and get to see Madagascar, the Maldives and more along the way, before arriving in Cape Town on 5 January. On 23 January, guests will then head out to travel around Antarctica, leaving from Argentina and heading around the continent before returning on 8 February.
The final leg of the incredible journey leaves on 19 March from Singapore. Travellers will head from Hong Kong and Shanghai to Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Japan and more before arriving in Kobe on 15 May, finishing up their exploration of Asia.

While this adventure, which runs longer than a year, it quite a time commitment, it’s also quite a financial one as well. The price for the trip begins at £125,000 per person, which includes business class flights, overseas transfers and all of the cruises.
