The biggest ice skating rink in the world opened in Moscow on 28 November. It is located on the main avenue of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VDNKh) and has 20,510 sq m of ice, with 5000 sq m illuminated by backlights. For the safety and comfort of skaters, there are zones for different types of skating, as well as a pedestrian bridge.
