Graffiti artist Banksy’s new exhibition has brought an estimated £20 million of extra revenue to the English resort town of Weston-super-Mare.

Dismaland, a subversive temporary theme park set in a derelict seafront lido, has sold out its 4,500 tickets a day, and claims to offer ‘entry-level anarchism’. The town’s hoteliers’ association estimates an additional 50,000 nights have been sold in local accommodation, with visitors also spending money on dinner and drinks. The show closes on Sunday.
