Paignton Zoo in the United Kingdom has welcomed a new baby mandrill, born on 26 September to parents named Marta and Jumanji, according to the zoo’s website.

Paignton Zoo participates in the European Endangered species programme, and this endangered primate is an important contribution. The mandrill is an endangered primate from the rainforests of West Africa and is considered vulnerable by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
The 80-acre zoo is run by a conservation charity and includes enclosures that re-create habitats such as savannah, wetland, tropical forest and desert.
