One hiker was killed and five injured when an ice cave collapsed in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington on Monday.

Three of the injured were airlifted to the nearest hospital where they were treated for serious injuries. The cave in comes after a similar collapse on Saturday in which no one was injured. Officials say a recent heat wave has weakened the caves, and they remind visitors to exercise extreme caution. Read more: seattletimes.com
