A 40-year-old Zimbabwean safari guide has been mauled to death by a lion in Hwange National Park.

Quinn Swales was charged by the lion while leading a photographic walking safari at dawn on Monday. He saved his guests from any harm, but subsequently died of his injuries. Hwange was famously home to Cecil the lion before he was recently killed in a suspected illegal hunt by American dentist Walter Palmer. Read more: theguardian.com
