
The Land of the Free isn’t always so liberal when it comes to allowing women to sunbathe topless, but Venice Beach, in Los Angeles, is hoping to make a stand and change all that on its own sandy stretches. Despite rules specifically prohibiting it, the local council has voted decisively to push for women to have “the same rights as men to sunbathe topless”.
