For the first time, Uber is going to be taking passengers across the US-Mexico border – and they’re reminding would-be passengers not to forget their passports.

As of today, anyone in San Diego will be able to travel across the border to Tijuana, paying an extra US$20 on top of the standard fee for the convenience. Coming back into the US won’t be so easy though. Because of restrictions, travellers heading north will need to cross the border on foot and hail an Uber once they’ve cleared immigration on the US side. Read more: travelmole.com
