A Taiwanese tourist has died after she was caught in a landslide at Emei Shan, one of China’s four most famous Buddihst mountains.

The woman was part of a 16-person tour group from Taiwan who were caught in a heavy downpour on the moutain on Saturday. The group had been instructed to leave their vehicle and walk due to a traffic jam when a downpour occurred, resulting in a landslide.
