Cameraphone footage of a goat on a slide in the Telagu-speaking part of India has become a viral hit across South Asia.
The video of a goat repeated sliding down a ramp - and obviously enjoying it - has been viewed by 12 million people since it was posted on YouTube. Goats occupy a curious niche in Indian society. Although primarily raised for meat and milk, goats are often kept as pets, and people across the subcontinent play games with their goats in the same way that Europeans play games with their dogs.
