The governments of Zambia and Zimbabwe have announced that the launch of the Kavango Zambezi Tran-frontier Conservation Area (KAZA) UNIVISA will take place on Friday 28 November. This new visa is for the Southern African Development Community (SADC), and will be piloted by Zambia and Zimbabwe for 6 months. Following this pilot period, the UNIVISA should be rolled out to include Botswana, Namibia and Angola. More countries in the SADC region are expected to join at the later phase. From Friday the UNIVISA will be available at the following ports of entry in Zambia: KK International Airport, Harry Mwaanga International Airport, Kazungula border and Victoria Falls border. In Zimbabwe it will be issued at Harare International Airport, Victoria Falls border, Victoria Falls International and the Kazungula border. The visa will cost US$50. Read more: eturbonews.com
