Nice, Cannes and several other towns on the French Riviera have got the go ahead for Sunday shopping.
The stores will also be allowed to stay open until midnight, after a law was passed to allow those in ‘international tourist zones’ to extend their opening hours. There are already 12 areas in Paris that the reform applies to and the changes are now spreading throughout the country, with Val d’Europe near Disneyland and Normandy’s Deauville also included.
