At least seven people were killed Tuesday in a grenade attack and shootings in Bujumbura, police and residents said.
This further spate of violence follows the controversial election of President Pierre Nkurunziza to a third term. Residents of the Ngagara neighbourhood - a stronghold of opposition supporters - said a television cameraman, his wife and two children were among the dead.
