It’s been a feature of late-night American TV since 1999, but on Thursday the final ever broadcast of Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show will be aired.

However, fans of the award-winning satirical news show will be able to remember all the fun times as the set, including the desk, the globe, the guest chair and mugs, will be going on display at the Newseum in Washington, DC. Cathy Trost, the senior vice president of exhibits at the Newseum said of the acquisition ‘We are thrilled to accept the donation of these artifacts to the Newseum collection,’ adding that Stewart was ‘a voice for a strong and free press, and against the silencing of journalists by repressive regimes’.
