It is now possible to charge mobile devises on the go across Serbia thanks to the ‘Strawberry Tree’, invented by a recent university graduate. These public solar-powered charging stations have been installed in parks and squares in several towns across the country. The ‘tree’ has six chargers for different mobile phones and tablets, plus wi-fi and USB sockets. It also has in-built solar batteries enabling it to work for up to 20 days without sunlight. The innovation, which is made of  reused steel and is 98% recyclable, won the EU Sustainable Energy Award. Read more: edition.cnn.com
