The scheme sees 1,200 bicycles available for hire at 140 docking stations around the city, with many concentrated in residential neighbourhoods, as well as Gwanghwamun in central Seoul. Bikes can be hired from stations for ₩1,000 (£0.50) per day, and transfers to other forms of public transport earn ‘mileage points’ that can be used for future rentals. To hire a bike, visitors must register their public transport card (T-money or M-pass) online and pay a ₩50,000 (US$43) deposit. Read more: koreaherald.com
