San Francisco is well known for its steep hills and now a recent survey by Bloomberg has shown it’s equally notorious for its steep hotel prices.

The report looked at hotel rates around the world and found that the cost of a room in the City by the Bay averages $397 a night, up 88% in the last year and way ahead of number two, Geneva, at $292. The prices are being attributed to tech employees travelling to the area on business in Silicon Valley but preferring to stay in the city to enjoy its nightlife and culture. Read more: travelmole.com
