Conservationists have been attempting to coax a beaked whale into deeper waters after it swam into the shallow waters of a bay near Wismar on Germany’s Baltic coast.
The team from the National Maritime Museum in Stralsund are using a recording of the species' call, though they don't know if it will be successful. Beaked whales are usually found in the Atlantic and are rarely seen in Baltic waters.
