A number of international reports have suggested that, outside of Copenhagen, Denmark doesn't have enough to offer tourists.
The studies indicate that investment in the Danish tourism industry is lagging behind those of its neighbours Sweden and Germany, and the Confederation of Danish Industries (Dansk Industri - DI) is calling for a massive improvement in entertainment, sleeping and eating options, as well as infrastructure including better bicycle paths. The organisation also says that higher prices in the country do not reflect a better service, which is discouraging visitors. Read more: thelocal.dk
