A rare book published in 1565 that features 900 color illustrations of flora and fauna is now on display in the "Naturaleza Impresa en Libro" (Nature in Books) exhibition at the Museum of the Environment in Rio de Janeiro.

Created by physician and botanist Pietro Andrea Mattioli, the work is a Latin translation of a first-century Greek text.
