A New Zealand tourist has returned home from Sydney after being sexually assaulted while on a date set up using the dating app Tinder. Two months ago another Kiwi tourist was murdered after meeting a man on the Gold Coast through Tinder. The Australian police have issued a reminder to the community of the dangers of online dating, making recommendations on how to remain safe when meeting in person with someone you are first introduced to online.
