Police in Spain are investigating allegations that a four-month old donkey, appearing as part of a Christmas nativity scene in the town of Lucena, had to be put down after it was sat on by a large man. The man climbed into the enclosure on 10 December to sit on the donkey, photos of which were widely circulated on social media.
