Investigators have aimed the blame for a British Airways Boeing 747-400 hitting a building at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on pilot error and shoddy infrastructure. The event took place in December 2013 with 202 passengers and crew on board, none of whom were injured. The plane’s wing sliced through the side of the brick maintenance building – injuring four workers on the ground – after the flight crew missed a turn while preparing for take-off to London.
